Account & Profile
Visit our Register page and fill in your name, email address, date of birth, and gender. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account. Once activated, complete your profile to start receiving match suggestions.
Upload clear, recent photos of yourself (taken within the last 2 years). Primary photos must show your face clearly. Avoid group photos, sunglasses, or obscured-face images as your main photo. All photos must be modestly dressed and family-friendly.
Log in and navigate to My Profile → Edit Profile. You can update any field at any time. Profile changes are reviewed by our team within 24 hours before going live.
Go to Account Settings → Security → Change Email. You'll need to verify the new address before it takes effect. If you're unable to access your account, contact support@bornagain.com.
Membership & Plans
The free plan allows limited profile views and interest expressions per day. Premium plans unlock unlimited views, unlimited interests, contact detail access, priority listing, and a verified badge. See our Plans page for a full feature comparison.
No. All our plans are one-time, fixed-duration subscriptions — we do not auto-renew or charge you automatically. You'll receive a reminder email before your plan expires so you can renew manually if you wish.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from Account Settings → My Plan. Any unused days on your current plan will be factored in as a credit toward the new plan at our discretion.
Refunds are available in specific circumstances — technical failures, duplicate payments, or prolonged service unavailability. Change of mind is not a refund-eligible reason. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Matching & Interests
Our algorithm suggests compatible profiles based on factors such as age preference, denomination, location, education level, and other criteria you set in your profile preferences. You can further filter results using advanced search.
Open the profile you're interested in and click the "Express Interest" button. The member will be notified and can choose to accept or decline. If they accept, you can then view their contact details (based on your plan).
Contact details (phone number) are shared with a member only after both parties have mutually expressed interest and the connection is accepted. Premium members can view contact details directly on accepted connections.
Open the member's profile, click the three-dot menu (⋯), and select "Block" or "Report". Blocked members cannot view your profile or contact you. Reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours.
Safety & Privacy
By default your profile is visible to all registered members. You can restrict visibility to "Paid members only" or "Hidden" from your Profile Settings → Visibility. Even when hidden, members you've already connected with can still see your profile.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL. Your phone number is never displayed publicly — it's only shared on mutual acceptance of interest. We never sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Report it immediately using the Report button on the profile or email safety@bornagain.com. We treat all such reports with the highest priority and take action within 1 hour. See our Child Protection Policy for more.
While we require real identity information during registration for safety reasons, your profile can be set to visible only to members you choose. We never display your last name or phone number publicly.
Payments
We accept UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and select EMI options via our payment gateway. All transactions are secured by 256-bit SSL encryption.
This can happen if the transaction timed out after the debit. In most cases the amount is auto-refunded within 5–7 business days. If not, email billing@bornagain.com with your transaction reference number and we'll resolve it promptly.
A payment receipt is automatically sent to your registered email after every successful transaction. You can also download receipts from Account Settings → Billing History.
Yes. All displayed prices are inclusive of 18% GST as applicable under Indian tax law. Your tax invoice is included in the payment receipt email sent to your registered email address.
Technical Support
Ensure your photo is in JPG, PNG, or WEBP format and is under 5 MB in size. Try a different browser or clear your browser cache. If the issue persists, email support@bornagain.com with a description of the error you see.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your registered email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it. The link expires after 60 minutes.
