Born Again Matrimonial is India's leading Christian matrimonial platform designed specifically for born-again Christians. Our platform helps believers find a life partner who shares their faith, values, and vision for a God-centred marriage.
Who can register on this platform?
Anyone who is a born-again Christian and is genuinely seeking a life partner for marriage is welcome. Profiles of all Christian denominations are accepted — Pentecostal, Catholic, CSI, Baptist, AOG, Marthoma, and more. The platform is restricted to adults (18+) only.
How do I create an account?
Click Register Free on the homepage. You'll go through a 4-step process: basic information, personal details, photo upload, and acceptance of our community guidelines. The entire registration takes about 10 minutes. Your profile is reviewed before it goes live.
Is it free to join?
Yes! Creating a profile and browsing a limited number of profiles is completely free. To view contact details, send unlimited interests, and use our messaging features, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan. See our Pricing page for details.
Profile & Account
How do I complete my profile?
After registration, log into your account and go to My Profile → Edit Profile. Fill in all sections including your faith background, family details, education, and what you're looking for in a partner. Complete profiles receive significantly more matches.
Can I hide my profile temporarily?
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Profile Visibility and toggle your profile to "Hidden". Your profile will not appear in search results while hidden, but you can still browse other profiles and manage your existing connections.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action permanently removes your profile and all data from our platform. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first. You can also contact support@bornagain.com for assistance.
What kind of photos should I upload?
Upload clear, recent photos of yourself with a decent background. Avoid sunglasses, group photos, or very old photos. Profiles with a clear face photo receive up to 5× more responses. Our team reviews all photos to maintain platform standards.
Membership & Plans
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Free lets you create a profile, browse limited profiles, and send up to 5 interests per month. Premium unlocks unlimited interests, full chat messaging, contact detail access, advanced filters, and the ability to see who viewed your profile. See the full comparison on our Pricing page.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes. Go to My Account → Subscription → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No penalty or cancellation fee applies.
Do you offer a refund?
We offer a 7-day full refund from the date of purchase if you are not satisfied. After 7 days, refunds are not available unless there was a technical error on our side. See our full Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
Is there a couple discount or special offer?
We occasionally offer seasonal discounts and referral bonuses. Subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on social media to be the first to hear about promotions. Choosing yearly billing always gives you a 30% discount.
Safety & Privacy
How do you verify profiles?
Every new profile is reviewed manually by our team before going live. We check photos, contact details, and profile content for authenticity. Premium members can also request a verified ID badge by submitting a government ID, which adds a verification checkmark to their profile.
Is my contact number visible to everyone?
No. Your phone number and email address are only visible to Premium and Gold members. Free members cannot see contact details. You can also choose to show or hide contact details individually in your Privacy settings.
How do I report a suspicious profile?
On any profile page, click the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Report Profile. Provide a reason and any details. Our safety team investigates all reports within 24 hours. You can also email safety@bornagain.com directly.
Do you sell my personal data?
Never. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to operate and improve the platform. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Matching & Interest
How does the matching algorithm work?
Our algorithm considers denomination, age range, education level, location preference, ministry involvement, and the specific partner preferences you've set. It also learns from your browsing and interaction patterns over time to surface better matches.
What happens when I send an interest?
The other person receives a notification that you're interested. If they accept your interest, you're connected and can begin messaging (Premium/Gold required). If they decline, you'll be notified and the connection is closed discreetly.
Can I block someone?
Yes. Go to their profile and click Block. Blocked users cannot see your profile, send you interests, or contact you. Blocking is entirely private — the other person is not notified.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay), UPI, Net Banking, and Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay) through our Razorpay-powered checkout. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-DSS compliant.
Will I be automatically charged on renewal?
Yes, subscriptions auto-renew by default. You'll receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from My Account → Subscription.
I was charged but my plan didn't activate. What do I do?
Payment delays can sometimes occur. Please wait 15 minutes and refresh your account page. If the issue persists, email support@bornagain.com with your transaction ID and we'll resolve it within 24 hours.
Technical
Is there a mobile app?
Our mobile app is currently in development. For now, our website is fully mobile-optimised and works beautifully on all smartphones and tablets. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click Forgot Password on the login page. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you a reset link within 2 minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox.
